Newton Medical Center (NMC) announces the addition of urology specialist Philippe Nabbout, MD, to the hospital’s medical staff.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Nabbout to Newton Medical Center,” said Charles Craig, MD, chief medical officer. “He is an engaging, well-trained urologist; with an expertise not only in urology, but also in robotic surgery, combined with a patient-focused approach to care, Dr. Nabbout is a great addition to our medical staff.”
“I am very excited to join the medical staff at Newton Medical Center,” said Dr. Nabbout. “My goal is to provide state of the art treatments for a wide spectrum of urologic conditions. Hopefully this will allow patients in the region to receive their urological care without the need to travel.”
Dr. Nabbout attended Saint-Joseph School of Medicine in Beirut, Lebanon where he received his medical degree in 2006 and earned a diploma for laproscopic surgery in 2009. He completed his residency in urology at Oklahoma University Health Science Center where he also completed fellowship training for endourology and robotic surgery.
Dr. Nabbout is a member of the American Urological Society and is board-eligible through the American Board of Urology.
Dr. Nabbout is seeing Newton patients on Monday mornings and Wednesdays afternoons at Wichita Urology Group’s Newton location, located on the hospital campus at 700 Medical Center Drive, suite 101.
