Newton Medical Center (NMC) announces the addition of physician assistant Jenny Martens. Martens joins Sarab Alseoudi, MD, at Advanced Neurology Consultants, an NMC clinic.
Prior to joining NMC, Martens most recently served as a provider in the emergency department at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita.
“Newton Medical Center has an excellent reputation,” said Martens. “I’m excited to be part of an organization that provides quality patient care and education to the community in which I live.”
“We are very excited to welcome Jenny to our neurology clinic,” said Alex Haines, vice president of clinic operations. “Her experience and knowledge is not only a great compliment to Dr. Alseoudi, but also allows us to provide more timely access to our patients.”
Martens graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Economics degree from Bethel College. She continued to Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree. Martens has since gained a broad range of experience in the medical field by working in rehabilitation, transitional care, medical care for substance abuse treatment and primary care.
