NMC to Celebrate 20-Years with Community Event on 8/27

August 23 marks the day 20 years ago when Newton Medical Center (NMC) first began accepting patients at its current hospital location. To celebrate this anniversary, NMC is hosting a community event, on Saturday, August 27.

The morning will kick-off at 9:30 a.m. with a recognition ceremony and balloon launch. Attendees will hear from hospital leaders Val Gleason, NMC CEO, and Steve Kelly, NMC president, as well as Tom Adrian, long-time friend of the hospital and former NMC board member.

Afterwards, between 10 a.m. and noon, attendees are invited to stay for activities with the Newton YMCA.

Healthy breakfast snacks will be served throughout the morning. Festivities will take place on the campuses of Newton Medical Center (600 Medical Center Drive) and the Newton YMCA (701 E. Wheatridge Drive). The event is free and open to the public.
