Newton Medical Center (NMC) welcomed baby boy Ethan as the first baby born at the hospital in the new year.
Baby Ethan was born on Friday, January 1 at 1:47 p.m. He weighed in at 10 pounds, 9 ounces, and he measured 21 inches long.
The hospital presented Ethan’s family with a gift basket, including a handmade baby quilt and cap from Trinity Heights United Methodist Church’s Piecemakers and a floral arrangement from Designs by John. In addition, Maddie’s Images provided newborn pictures.
