We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Home Care Services. In this role, you will provide professional nursing care to patients which includes the comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs, planning, coordination, teaching, counseling, and direct physical care. Evaluation of patient response to care and progress toward outcomes is an essential aspect of the care provision. Assists other personnel providing delegated aspects of care. Perform other related duties as assigned. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
This is a part-time position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and experience:
- Computer knowledge required
- Works independently and takes initiative on behalf of the patient
- Manages time effectively
- Demonstrates accountability and responsibility for safe patient care
- Minimum 1 year of home health experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical experience preferred
Licensure, registration or certification:
- Associate degree (ADN) or bachelor’s degree (BSN) from ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas
- Certification in CPR/Basic Life Support
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
