We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Cardiac Rehab Department. In this role, you will provide professional nursing care to inpatients and outpatients of all ages which includes the comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs, planning, coordination, teaching, counseling, and direct physical care. In addition, evaluation of patient response, to care and progress toward outcomes is an essential aspect of the care provision. Additionally, assists other personnel providing delegated aspects of care, perform other related duties as assigned, and function as a member of the interdisciplinary team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience:

• Associate degree (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing or diploma in nursing required
• Bachelor’s degree (BSN) from accredited school of nursing desired

Education and experience:

• Provide age-appropriate care
• Develop interpersonal relationships with patients and families with an emphasis on caring
• Computer knowledge required
• Effective communication skills with ability to listen both verbally and non-verbally
• Works independently and takes initiative on behalf of the patient
• Manages time effectively
• Demonstrates accountability and responsibility for self-patient care

Licensure, registration and certification:

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas
• Certification in CPR/Basic Life Support
