In accordance with HIPAA regulations, this position requires full access to Protected Health Information (PHI). This position assists in multiple areas based on the needs of our clinics. In this role, duties may include, but are not limited to; rooming patients, collection of health history, data entry, phone triage, assisting providers with patient care and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • Graduation from high school or GED required.
  • Registered or Certified Medical Assistant
  • Graduation from accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing
  • Licensure as an RMA or LPN 
  • 1 to 2 years of clinic experience preferred 

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology to communicate with laboratory staff, nursing staff, providers and physicians.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public.
  • Ability to carry out instructions from doctors.
  • Ability to exhibit initiative and sound judgment in the absence of specific orders.
  • Ability to anticipate provider’s needs.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to read and understand oral and written instruction.
  • Ability to follow written protocols.
  • Ability to communicate clearly.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
