We are currently seeking an Ambulatory Clinic Analyst (ACA) for our Health Informatics department.  In this role, you will support the core functions of the clinic information systems to enable cost-effective, high quality, efficient, and safe patient care.  With this overarching goal in mind, you will support doctors, nurses, and clinic staff by resolving issues with electronic health record(s) (EHR) and other clinic tools.  As an Ambulatory Clinic Analyst (ACA) you will be partnering with all our health center staff in ensuring that our clinic applications are functioning as expected , and if not, assisting in finding resolutions for issues, designing systems, testing programs and other assistance as needed. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • 3 to 5 years active and progressive experience in a patient care setting, preferably clinic/ambulatory setting
  • Experience with outpatient clinical systems or other healthcare information systems is a plus
  • Background in nursing, clinical, or ancillary departments to effectively connect hospital systems with patient care teams
  • Ability to handle multiple projects while managing day-to-day tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including working well with diverse personalities, and being tactful, mature and flexible
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and reasoning abilities, with sound judgment
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Basic computer skills, including typing and general operating system knowledge is a must
