NEWTON, Kan., (November 25, 2024) – NMC Health is proud to announce that Wesley Goodrich, DO, MPH, who practices at NMC Health Family Medicine in Valley Center, has been honored with the 2024 Outstanding Resident of the Year Award by the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians (MAFP)(see attached MAFP press release). This accolade was presented to Dr. Goodrich during the Academy’s 76th Annual Meeting, held on November 8, 2024, at the InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza.
A recent graduate of the University of Missouri Kansas City Family Medicine Residency Program, Dr. Goodrich was selected for this prestigious award by a committee of esteemed family physicians, based on nominations from patients, community members, and fellow physicians. The MAFP Outstanding Resident of the Year Award recognizes a graduating Missouri resident who epitomizes exemplary patient care, leadership, community commitment, academic contributions, and dedication to the field of Family Medicine.
