NMC Health is thrilled to share the news of Greta Sandoval’s advancement within our ranks as she takes on the role of Clinic Director of NMC Health Specialty Clinics.

Why are you excited to join NMC Health?
I appreciate working for a smaller, local organization that is patient-focused and that strives to improve the health of patients and our community.
Why did you choose to have a career in healthcare?
I never really wanted to do anything else. I have always felt a calling to help others.
What inspires you to do what you do every day?
I am inspired by knowing that I can make a difference in a person’s life, no matter how small the task may seem.
What is your favorite thing about working with patients?
My favorite thing about working with patients is the satisfaction I feel at the end of most days, that I have done everything I could for the patients or staff who needed my help that day.
What is your top priority when providing healthcare?
I do the best I can for each patient regardless of whether I agree with them or not.
What are your favorite things to do outside of the office?
I love to spend time with my family.
If you could give one piece of advice to someone considering a career in healthcare, what would it be?
Healthcare is not an easy profession, but it is one of the most rewarding. I highly recommend it.
What’s the best advice you received?
Doors open and close for reasons. Be ready and willing to walk through the open doors.
What’s one thing you wish every patient knew?
I wish every patient knew how important good health is to the quality and quantity of a person’s life.
