Newton Medical Center (NMC) has launched a patient and family advisory council (PFAC), a new engagement initiative focused on utilizing patient feedback to continually improve the hospital experience.
In addition to hospital staff, the council is made up of advisors. These advisors are members of the community who have been recent patients of Newton Medical Center; Family members and caregivers also serve as advisors.
The council meets for one hour each month. During the monthly meeting, advisors have the opportunity to discuss patient care initiatives, projects, programs and facilities that impact the patient and family experience.
NMC is currently seeking volunteers to serve as advisors on the council. If interested in participating, contact Kesa Easter at (316) 804-6178.
