Newton Medical Center (NMC) announced today a new name for their home health services. The service previously known as Central Homecare is now Newton Home Health.
“Central Homecare has a long history in the Newton community,” says Steve Kelly, President and Chief Executive Officer, Newton Medical Center. “Its new name, Newton Home Health, now reflects its relationship with the hospital.”
Newton Home Health, formerly Central Homecare, and part of Newton Medical Center, is a not-for-profit home health agency. Originally Harvey County Home Health, the agency has been serving the community since 1977. In July of 2015, the agency joined Newton Medical Center and began operating as a service of the hospital.
Newton Home Health offers comprehensive services ranging from skilled health care such as nursing and therapy, to private duty services including personal care, housekeeping and medication reminders.
Newton Home Health’s business office is located on the Newton Medical Center campus at 1715 Medical Park Drive, Suite 100.
