NEWTON, Kan., (July 30, 2024) – NMC Health welcomes the community to help recognize the significant contributions made by Newton Meals on Wheels in serving area seniors and families, as we honor the dedicated volunteers, staff, and supporters who have made a 50-year partnership of life-saving meal delivery possible.
What: An open house and Chamber After Hours event celebrating Newton Meals on Wheels and NMC Health’s 50-year partnership.
When: Tuesday, August 6, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Where: NMC Health Medical Center – North Dining Room
600 Medical Center Drive, Newton, KS.
Attendees should drive around the hospital and use Entrance K. Limited reserved parking will be available near the entrance.
Details: The event will feature light refreshments with a brief program starting at 5:00 PM. Community members, partners, and supporters are
encouraged to join in the celebration and learn more about the impactful work of Newton Meals on Wheels over the past five decades.
