NMC Health is excited to announce the promotion of our very own Alicia McCurry to Vice President, Clinic Operations.
Alicia has been in healthcare for nearly 40 years, and part of the NMC Health family since 2012. She most recently served as Clinic Director of NMC Health Specialty Clinics. Her experience, strategic vision, and proven ability to lead teams to new heights make her the perfect fit for this role.

Why are you excited to join NMC Health?
I have had the pleasure of being with NMC Health since 2012. I am excited to continue serving NMC Health in this new role.
Why did you choose to have a career in healthcare?
I entered health care 38+ years ago with the desire to serve and care for others. This remains true today.
What is your background?
My foundation is in nursing. I have enjoyed many facets of this profession. One of the best things about healthcare is the dynamic nature of it. You are always growing and learning new ways to help others.
What inspires you to do what you do every day?
I have always had a drive to serve and care for people. It gives me great joy to be able to assist my co-workers and providers with the tools they need to care for our patients.
What is your favorite thing about working with patients?
It is providing them with the assurance that we are doing our very best for them.
What is your top priority when providing healthcare?
The top priority is to deliver quality care to the best of our ability in a kind and caring manner.
What are your favorite things to do outside of the office?
I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, camping, and horseback riding.
If you could give one piece of advice to someone considering a career in healthcare, what would it be?
Follow your heart and the rest will come. If caring for others is what speaks to you, healthcare will not disappoint you. There are so many ways to serve and the talent of those who choose healthcare is deep and wide.
Every career has positives and negatives. If you do what you love, the positive will outweigh the negative.
What's the best advice you've received?
Sometimes things happen that are out of your control; how you respond to it is within your control. Look for the best in others, do your very best, and don’t lose your sense of humor.
