Newton, Kan., (November 15, 2024) – NMC Health, is pleased to announce the full repayment of the hospital revenue bonds issued in 1994 for the initial construction of the Newton Medical Center, now known as NMC Health. This significant financial milestone reflects the organization’s commitment to fiscal responsibility and community investment. The bonds were instrumental in the establishment of the hospital, which officially opened its doors in 1996. Initially a 66-bed facility spanning 115,000 square feet, NMC Health has grown substantially over the years.
