Newton Medical Center (NMC) announces the addition of Elizabeth Cramer, family nurse practitioner, to the health system’s new Walk-in Health Clinic in Park City.
“We’re excited to welcome Elizabeth to our Walk-in Health Clinic,” said Alex Haines, vice president of clinic operations. “Elizabeth’s passion for helping patients and wealth of experience will give Park City and the surrounding communities an exceptional resource for non-emergent medical care.”
Cramer attended Wichita State University where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She went on to a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Walden University.
“My career as a nurse practitioner has focused on walk-in medical care,” says Cramer. “I find it to be a practical solution to our patients’ busy lives. I am excited to be an integral part of Newton Medical Center’s expansion of walk-in health care.”
The clinic will offer same-day non-emergency treatment for illnesses including sinus infections and the flu, as well as for injuries such as sprains, strains or minor lacerations. School and Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals will also be available. Additionally, patients may receive vaccines for flu and tetanus.
NMC’s Walk-in Health Clinic will open its doors on Monday, January 6. Clinic hours will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
