Jeff Couchman has one major goal: to see people improve and get them back to doing things they enjoy. That’s the best part of being a physical therapist, he says.
“In high school, I had some experience with physical therapy through family members having knee and back surgery, and a couple of high school friends with sports injuries,” Couchman said. “My mother was a nurse so healthcare was part of the family. When physical therapy was first suggested, I really didn’t know what was involved. Initially, the sports therapy aspect was appealing, but once I graduated, I realized I appreciated a broader range of patients.”
Since then, over the past 27 years, Jeff has gotten his certifications in ASTYM and lymphedema.
Outside of work, Jeff is active in church.
